This Dutch Bros Rebel Recipe brings that sweet, fruity coffee-shop energy drink right into your own kitchen. I like making mine over plenty of ice with strawberry, blue raspberry, and a splash of fresh lime because the bright berry flavor tastes especially refreshing on a warm afternoon.
Fill a tall glass about three-quarters full with ice. I like using plenty because it keeps the drink cold and refreshing while leaving enough room for the syrups and energy drink.
Step 2. Add the Flavored Syrups
Pour 1 tablespoon of blue raspberry syrup and 1 tablespoon of strawberry syrup over the ice. I always measure these because even a little extra syrup can make the finished drink overly sweet.
Step 3. Add Fresh Lime Juice
Add 1 teaspoon of fresh lime juice. That small splash of citrus balances the sweetness and gives the strawberry and blue raspberry flavors a brighter, fresher finish.
Step 4. Pour in the Energy Drink
Slowly pour the chilled energy drink over the ice and flavored syrups. Pouring gently helps preserve the carbonation and keeps the drink from foaming over the rim.
Step 5. Stir Gently
Give the drink a few gentle stirs with a long spoon or straw. You want the syrups evenly mixed without stirring so much that you lose all that refreshing fizz.
Step 6. Garnish and Serve
Add two or three fresh strawberry slices and a lime wedge if you like. Serve your homemade Rebel right away while it’s cold, fizzy, and the ice hasn’t started melting.

Notes
The first time I made this at home, I got a little generous with the blue raspberry syrup and it completely took over the drink. Now I measure the syrups instead of eyeballing them, and the berry flavors come out much more balanced.
