This Dutch Bros Dragon Slayer Recipe brings the sweet, tangy flavor of the popular coffee-shop drink right into your kitchen. Made with raspberry, blue raspberry, a fizzy energy drink, and a blackberry float, it has that bold berry taste that makes the original so refreshing.I started making it at home when I realized how simple the flavor combination really is. After a little experimenting, I found that adding the blackberry syrup at the end gives the drink that fruity layered finish I was looking for.
Fill a tall glass about three-quarters full with ice. Plenty of ice keeps the drink cold and refreshing without watering it down too quickly.
Step 2. Add the Berry Syrups
Pour the blue raspberry syrup and raspberry syrup over the ice. Stir briefly so both flavors blend evenly throughout the drink.
Step 3. Pour in the Energy Drink
Slowly pour the chilled energy drink over the ice and syrups. Pour gently to help keep the drink fizzy and refreshing.
Step 4. Stir Gently
Stir the drink a few times with a long spoon. Avoid over-stirring because it can reduce the carbonation.
Step 5. Add the Blackberry Float
Drizzle the blackberry syrup over the top to create the signature blackberry float. Leave it slightly layered for a richer berry finish.
Step 6. Garnish and Serve
Add fresh raspberries if desired and serve immediately. Taste before adding extra syrup so the drink doesn’t become overly sweet.

Notes
The first time I made mine, I went a little heavy on the blue raspberry syrup, and it completely took over the drink. I’ve learned that keeping the raspberry and blue raspberry balanced gives it a much brighter, smoother flavor.
